Trena Ann Carracso Parrish, 63, of Florence, AZ passed peacefully on July 17, 2019 in Casa Grande, AZ with her loving family her side. Trena was born on October 21, 1955 in Joliet, IL to William Howard and Barbara Parrish. She grew up in Joliet and attended Gardner Grade School and graduated from MVK High School in 1973. After her graduation, Trena attended nursing school and was pinned 4 years later.

In 1981, Trena moved to Arizona to stay close to her Aunt Karen. There she worked in a local hospital as an LPN. She met her future husband, Soondy, whom she wed in 1985 and had two boys, Aaron Jake and Jim. She eventually worked for the prison before retirement. She additionally helped take care of Uncle Jack’s wife, Edith Hayes.

Trena enjoyed going to yard sales and thrifting, she had a collection of pig memorabilia. She spoke her mind, and would always tell you the way it was. Trena had a generous heart and if she could she would help you out. She loved spending time with her family, especially her 3 grandchildren. She was a huge Cubs fan.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Howard, and her husband, Soondy.

Trena is survived by her mother, Barbara, two sons; Aaron Jake and Jim (Melissa), 3 grandchildren, brother; James (Lori), sister; Sandra Goddlet, and many more relatives.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Heritage Florence Funeral Home.
