With great sadness we are allowing Andrew Russell Martin to return home for eternal rest.

Born on July 13, 1985, in Ottawa Community Hospital, the son of Lori Martin. He spent his childhood growing up in the Morris/Seneca communities. Andrew graduated from Morris High School with the class of 2004. Andrew heard his calling to serve his country and joined the United States Army at the tender age of 17. While in the Army he belonged to the 82nd Airborne stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After his discharge from the Army, Andrew returned to his hometown and started to raise a family of his own.

He is survived by his two beautiful children Harlow and Ryne Martin.

Andrew was his mother’s only child and he was her world.

Surviving is his mother Lori and his father Mark (Mary) Davidson, maternal grandfather Russell Martin. Brother to six siblings; Josh (Amy) Bloomfield, Melanie (Brett) Schroder, Ashley (Rickey) Turner, Sarah (Josh) Friestad, Keagen Davidson and Kylee (Lamar)Griffin. Also surviving is maternal Aunt Lynn Underhill, Uncle Larry (Mari) Martin. Five nieces and eight nephews.

Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Irma Jean Martin, paternal grandparents Evelyn and Russell Davidson and a brother Michael Thomas Davidson.

Andrew was loved as a son, brother. Father, uncle, cousin, friend and veteran. He was known for his love to ride his Harley and travel wherever the road would take him. He was a free spirit person and was full of love and kindness.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm January 15, 2022, at U. C. Davis-Callahan Funeral Home located at 301 West Washington Street in Morris. A Celebration of Andrew’s life will follow at 4:00pm with Pastor Josh Bloomfield officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by Morris Color Guard in front of the funeral home immediately following the services. Aqua Cremation Rites will be conducted following the Services.
