As more than 1,500 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 and 16 individuals have died in Illinois, lawmakers are echoing calls for people to stay home and to practice social distancing
Republican State Senator Sue Rezin of Morris, whose district covers portions of the WSPY listening area, provided words of caution for citizens.
Even though social distancing measures have been reiterated by several public health officials, Rezin said some people are still not getting the message.
Rezin also had this to say about testing.
Rezin recommends people continue to follow the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health and CDC.
