A 30-year-old Morris woman was arrested by the Morris Police Department shortly after midnight on Tuesday, September 8th.
Morris Police Deputy Chief Chad Skelton said they were called to a liquor establishment where Lydia Straka was throwing pool balls and causing a disturbance.
Skelton said Straka was then taken to her on home on Parklake Drive, but during the ride she allegedly starting causing a disturbance in the back seat.
When the officer got out of the car, Straka allegedly scratched the face of the officer and kicked him in the knee area.
Straka was charged with four counts of Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, all class two felonies. She was transported to the Grundy County Jail.
