The Minooka Police Department arrested a Crest Hill woman for stealing items and getting into a serious crash. Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer said 34-year-old Yvette Mannie allegedly stole more than $600 worth of items from a business in the 2000 block of Ridge Road in Minooka around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 21st.
After leaving the store, the manager was allegedly threatened and punched in the face by Mannie outside the business. Meyer said Mannie then fled and was pulled over in the 1,000 block of Ridge Road.

Meyer said then Mannie fled the scene on foot, but was arrested a short time later in some nearby bushes. Mannie was arrested for Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding Police, Driving While License Suspended, Obstructing/Resisting, Battery, Assault, Felony Retail Theft, Motor Vehicle Theft and on three Will County warrants.
