Two individuals from Pontiac were sentenced on drug charges in Livingston County last week.
Thomas Emerson Jr., 57, of Pontiac was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance after a search warrant was conducted at 920 West Madison Street in Pontiac in April of 2019. During the search, 89 norco pills and a 2004 Dodge Caravan were seized. Michael Price, 52, of Pontiac was charged with three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and Karley Runyon, 27, of Pontiac was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
This comes after another search warrant was conducted at 1037 East Water Street in Pontiac around the same time frame. Several bags of heroin, syringes, and a 2002 Mercury Villager were seized. Last week, Price was sentenced by Livingston County Judge Jennifer Bauknecht to five years in prison on three drug dealing charges and three years on the drug possession charge.
Runyon was placed into the Drug Court Program and two years of probation after pleading guilty to a drug possession charge. The court case for Emerson remains ongoing.
