Two people were injured after a stabbing incident at a house in the 200 block of East High Street around 3:09 a.m. on July 31st. The Morris Police Department said they were called to the aforementioned address for a noise complaint.
Officers arrived and learned two people had been stabbed. The two were transported to the hospital. Investigators learned the two men had been outside their residence, playing loud music. Their neighbor asked them to turn the music down. The two men began arguing and started to beat the neighbor.
The neighbor attempted to retreat into his home and the two men followed. Once inside the two men cornered the neighbor against a kitchen counter and continued to punch him in the head. The neighbor stabbed at the two men in an attempt to get away from them.
The two men left the residence as police arrived. One of the subjects was treated and released with minor injuries. The second subject is in critical condition but is expected to recover. The investigation continues.
