Two individuals have been charged for fleeing from several police agencies on Monday morning.
Reno McMahan, 20, of East Moline and Ava Barchak, 18, of Palos Hills are accused of stealing a vehicle from Moline and then getting into a high speed chase.
The chase went on Interstate 80 then onto Route 6 and several secondary streets in Morris as the couple eventually found their way onto Route 47. The chase then continued south on Route 47 through Grundy County and into Dwight.
The two individuals eventually stopped the vehicle south of Saunemin in Livingston County and then fled on foot, but were apprehended by Livingston County authorities.
McMahan has been charged with possessing a stolen vehicle, a class two felony, aggravated fleeing and eluding police, a class four felony; speeding 104 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone and resisting.
Barchak was charged with possessing a stolen vehicle, a class two felony and resisting. Her bond was set at $5,000 and McMahan at $50,000.
Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress said charges could be filed agianst the two individuals in other counties.
