Two Vermilion County residents were arrested for allegedly dealing methamphetamine in Livingston County on May 13th. Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress said 29-year-old Coty Morgeson and 54-year-old Stephanie Solis, both of Hoopeston, Illinois, were arrested in the parking lot of a gas station in Pontiac.
Childress said five grams of meth and a 2014 Kia Forte valued at $11,500 were seized during the investigation, which remains ongoing. Both individuals have been charged with unlawful delivery of less than five grams of meth, a class two felony.
Solis and Morgeson were transported to the Livingston County Jail. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Pontiac Police Department, Dwight Police Department and Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation. Meanwhile, Morgeson also has a pending meth possession charge in Vermilion County.
