Three business license applications were approved by the Morris Judiciary and License Committee on Monday.
Committee Chairman Jake Duvick spoke about the three businesses.
The committee also heard an update from Morris Police Chief Alicia Steffes in regards to Grundy County Proactive Unit which was formed in March of this year.
Steffes said the unit arrested 14 individuals on warrants, 11 people for misdemeanors and 28 for felonies.
The Grundy County Proactive Unit has officers from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office as well as from the Morris, Minooka, Coal City, Seneca and Channahon Police Departments.
