Thomas Dillon Drive just north of Route 6 in Channahon will be reduced to one lane during daytime hours for construction of a water main crossing.

Channahon officials say all lanes are planned to be open overnight with steel plating over work trenches. The work is expected to begin on Monday, November 23rd and will take at least two weeks to complete.

To avoid commuting delays during construction, local traffic for residential subdivisions north of US Rt. 6 and east of I-55 are encouraged to use Patricia Lane, McDonald Drive, Carrie Avenue, or McClintock Road to travel to and from Route 6.
