The Seneca Village Council on Tuesday approved a Community Planning Survey that will be sent to all residents before the end of the year.

The survey is a way for the village to determine what residents want to see changed in the village. Some of the 12 questions on the survey include reasons for living and/or working in the Seneca area, satisfaction with the quality of life, zoning regulations, types of housing development and growth/development.

Two people can answer questions on one survey form because there is space for two replies. Seneca Mayor Jeff Olson said the survey's purpose is to learn what residents want to see happen in the village.
