The Operation St. Nick radio auction returns to the airwaves this Sunday.
The 36th Annual Operation St. Nick radio auction is being held Sunday, December 9 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Operation St. Nick works with We Care of Grundy County to find the neediest families in the area.
Funds raised are allocated to children for gifts and parents are allowed to shop for gifts for their child or children.
Operation St. Nick President Joe Schmitz says there will be more than 100 items up for bid, including hourly items.
Other auction items include: four tickets to Chicago Cubs opening day with a limo ride to and from the game, a 2019 Morris Country Club corporate pass membership to both courses, one week vacation to Destin, Florida and an autographed Brian Urlacher football and framed photograph.
Operation St. Nick raised over $125,000 during last year’s auction, which was the second-highest amount in the non-profit’s history.
The auction can be heard on 103.1 WCSJ.
