Around $900,000 in renovations continue at Stratton State Park in Morris.

Dan Bell with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources told WCSJ that the park will be closed on Tuesday, August 4th and Wednesday, August 5th for parking lot improvements.

The lot will be seal coated and striped. Bell said the parking lot is one of many improvements that is happening during this summer.

He also said the Price Street bridge replacement project is moving right along. All those repairs should be completed by the end of this summer.
