Newly appointed 106th Illinois State Representative Jason Bunting spoke about three issues in Springfield. Bunting said there was some big news recently about the lawsuits against the state’s new gun law.
A Macon County judge ruled the gun ban unconstitutional and a temporary restraining order was already in place. It appears that attorneys for the state will appeal to Supreme Court.
Bunting is also co-sponsoring legislation.
He also said there has been talk of a recession later this year.
