The Grundy County Tax Committee last week heard about a large project that could locate to the area.
Nancy Norton with the Grundy Economic Development Council spoke about Project Sting.
Norton said of the two sites in Grundy County, one is in the EDPA and the other would be a straight abatement.
Minooka Village Administrator Dan Duffy was also in attendance to discuss the project and the sales tax component.
The committee was in favor of a four year, 50% level incentive and would consider a fifth year.
Grundy County officials did not say what the company was, when they would make a decision or exactly where the locations would be.
The committee could hear more about the project in the future.
