A spent shell casing was found in the boys locker room at Minooka High School Central Campus earlier this morning.
That’s according to the Minooka Police Department and High School District 111 officials. On the district’s Facebook page, Superintendent Kenny Lee said no additional items were recovered.
It has also been determined that there was no threat to student safety nor connection to the fire, which occurred last week.
Lee said the district is thankful that the student reported the incident as they continue to create an environment where students can share any concerns either in person, through email, or via their anonymous tip line.
