The Seneca Village Hall will be closed for the foreseeable future due to an increase in Covid-19 cases.
Village officials have made this decision out of extreme caution so they can keep their village employees healthy and available to serve the citizens of Seneca.
Water bill payments can be dropped in the drop box out front, and payments can be made on-line at www.senecail.org.
Meanwhile, Seneca Mayor Jeff Olson released a statement on the Village of Seneca’s Facebook page on Monday in regards to a spike of cases in the Seneca area. Olson said he is asking and encouraging everyone to please wear masks, socially distance and sanitize often.
Olson is fully aware that there are many different beliefs regarding COVID-19 and he respect them all. However, he is asking that at this time that everyone come together, as a village, to get through this and make sure our loved ones remain safe and healthy.
Olson also encourages people to please help out and do your part when you visit a local business here in town. I know they will appreciate this tremendously, as they want this over with as much as anyone else.
