79th District State Rep. Lindsay Parkhurst is inviting constituents to participate in a roundtable forum before the Illinois General Assembly convenes for the spring session.
Before the last General Assembly gathered in Springfield, Parkhurst hosted two roundtables to hear the ideas of the 79th District with the goal of making Illinois better. Parkhurst said some of the ideas from those forums turned into bills, so the Republican from Kankakee is happy to hear ideas directly from residents once again.
The roundtable will be held on Jan. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Parkhurst’s district office, located at 370 E. Court Street in Kankakee. Parkhurst stated she will be available to listen to constituent ideas to introduce new legislation benefiting the 79th District and Illinois for the spring legislative session.
For constituents who wish to submit their ideas, but are unable to attend, a submission box is available at repparkhurst.com.
