Several pounds of drugs were confiscated following a traffic stops by the Illinois State Police.
The Illinois State Police said Alyssa Bogart, 29, of Jackson, Michigan and Jahmera Brown, 21, of Detroit, Michigan were arrested after a traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 80 near Seneca around 3 p.m. on October 14th.
ISP allege the stop was made after a trooper observed indicators of criminal activity which were not further identified in a statement. During the stop, more than 30 pounds of meth were seized.
Both individuals were charged with meth delivery of more than 900 plus grams, a class X felony. They both remain in the LaSalle County Jail on a $2 million bond.
If convicted on the class X felony, they could serve anywhere between 15 to 60 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
