The Illinois COVID Relief Fund has awarded $75,000 to the partnerships of the Community Foundation of Grundy County and the United Way of Grundy County to grant to nonprofit and government agencies.
United Way of Grundy County Executive Director Karen Nall explains how this came about.
She encourages nonprofits serving Grundy County to apply for funding to serve their clients in need.
Nall said the grant money has to be spent in eight weeks.
Community Foundation of Grundy County Executive Director Julie Buck said this grant has arrived at a very opportune time and will go a long way toward helping organizations through this economic struggle.
