The Grundy County Law and Justice Committee on Wednesday heard an update on the success of the newly created Grundy County Proactive Unit.
Grundy County Sheriff Ken Briley said the unit was formed in March.
Board member Greg Ridenour had this question for Briley and another committee member gave kudos to the unit for their work.
Briley said more manpower could be added to the unit in the future.
The Grundy County Proactive Unit has officers from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office as well as from the Morris, Minooka, Coal City, Seneca and Channahon Police Departments.
