The Morris City Council on Monday approved an agreement with Lauterbach and Amen to provide actuarial services.
Morris Mayor Dick Kopczick spoke about the agreement.
He also said the company has assisted the city in other ways.
Meanwhile, during the city council meeting, members heard that three new business license applications were approved at the Morris Judiciary and License Committee
Lindsey Romero will be operating a retail sales business at 273 East Route 6.
Adam Peterson will be opening an early learning/tutoring business, Adam Peterson Education, LLC, at 119 East Jefferson Street.
Marcia Wolter will run an online art sales business, Dundore Dolls and Designs at 1292 Heritage Drive.
