A Grundy County grand jury indicted a Morris woman on October 6th. Kristin Shannon was charged with the unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth, a class three felony.
Shannon is accused of possessing the meth somewhere in the Grundy County area on September 23rd, which is the same day she was arrested.
Shannon could receive probation/conditional discharge or serve anywhere from two to five years in prison if convicted. She remains free on an I-Bond.
