A convicted sexual predator will spend the next several years in prison.

In May of 2019, Skyler Roudis, 25, of Morris pled guilty in Kendall County to one count of possession of child pornography, a class one felony and was sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Earlier this month, Roudis pled guilty in Grundy County to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a class 2 felony and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Department was called to a house on West Archer Drive for a report of a male attempting to contact a female juvenile in October.

Roudis, who was later identified as the male, had located where the female lived and went to her residence, despite being told not to.

After an investigation, Roudis had several images of child porn on his cell phone.

During the Kendall County porn case, Grundy County investigators said they discovered a conversation between Roudis and a 15-year-old Morris resident.

The conversations indicated there had been inappropriate sexual contact.

Grundy County court records indicate the sexual contact occurred between August and September of 2018.

More details could be added to this story in the future.
