A Morris man has been sentenced in a Livingston County court case. Stephen Dobo pled guilty to Theft between $10,000 and $100,000, a class two felony in October of 2020.
He was sentenced by Livingston County Judge Jennifer Baucknecht to two years probation, 178 days in the Livingston County Jail and must receive drug treatment.
The 46-year-old Dobo must also pay more than $25,000 fines and restitution. Dwight Police Chief Tim Henson said Dobo stole more than $25,000 from a business in the 400 block of N. Union St. in the early part of 2018.
Henson also said Dobo was an employee of the business. Dobo was arrested by the Dwight Police Department in May of 2018.
