A Morris man was sentenced in a drug dealing case in Will County on January 14th.
Joseph Weber pled guilty to manufacturing and delivering between 1 and 15 grams of cocaine, a class one felony and was placed on two years of probation.
The 26-year-old Weber was also sentenced to serve 344 days in the Will County Jail, must obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation and pay more than $4,000 in fines and fees.
As part of the plea agreement, a class three felony drug dealing charge was dropped. Weber sold the cocaine to another individual somewhere in the Will County area on January 21st of 2020.
The Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad investigated the case and Weber was arrested on a Will County warrant by the Morris Police Department in late July of 2020.
