A 29-year-old Morris man is accused of leading the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department on a pursuit.

A Grundy County grand jury this week indicted Justin Hill on the charge of Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding Police, a class four felony and driving while license revoked, a class A misdemeanor.

After the indictment, Hill was arrested on a Grundy County warrant by the Morris Police Department in the 2300 block of Ashland Circle around 7:45 p.m. on November 7th.

Hill is accused of leading an officer with the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department on a pursuit after he failed to stop for a traffic stop in the area of Route 47 and Interstate 80 on September 9th.

Hill allegedly fled the officer going more than 21 miles over the speed limit. Hill remains free on a $10,000 bond and is due in court on December 6th.
