A Grundy County grand jury indicted a local man on two methamphetamine charges this week.
Michael Rich, 49, of Morris was charged with possession of meth manufacturing materials and unlawful use of property, both class two felonies.
Rich is accused of knowingly possessing a tube from an HCL generator, a bottle of lighter fluid, a bottle of sulfuric acid, cold packs and coffee filters with the intent that they be used to manufacture meth.
He is also accused of allowing Jason Fields to use his apartment in the 2400 block of Oakland Circle to manufacture meth. The allegations occurred on September 18th.
The Illinois State Police and Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad investigated the case. Grundy County court records show that a summons will be issued to Rich. More details could be released in the future.
