Morris Cruise Night has teamed up with local law enforcement to plan a parade in downtown Morris for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Liberty and Illinois Avenue. Beginning with two squad cars, Grundy County first responders will lead the parade. Also attending will be members of the Liberty Riders Motorcycle Club. The parade will proceed down Liberty until the intersection with Chapin Street. Herb Wyeth with Morris Cruise Night said he’s excited for the event:

The event commemorates the 20th anniversary of terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon that killed nearly 3,000 people.
