The Morris City Council this week approved a proposal from Stewart Spreading to transfer 200,000 gallons of sludge from the East Sewage Treatment Plant to the Central Sewage Plant.

Morris Mayor Dick Kopczick said the cost will be $8,500.

He also said the council approved a proposal from D. Construction for sludge transfer fittings. 

Meanwhile, the council approved two requests from the Immaculate Conception School Parent Club for two events that will happen on Monday, August 12th.
