The Morris City Council on Monday approved several firework stands for this Fourth of July season.

Morris Mayor Dick Kopczick said the city will have five firework stands this year compared to only two last year.

Meanwhile, the council also approved the purchase of a 2019 Chevy Silverado for the Morris Police Department Investigative Division in the amount of $32,000.
