A man who threatened a Will County Clerk’s Office employee has pleaded guilty. Leonard Feiner, 71, of Mokena pled guilty to Electronic Harassment/Threat/Person, a class B misdemeanor and was placed on six months of court supervision.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office said Feiner called the Will County Clerk’s Office stating to an employee he was upset about his polling place being relocated in October of 2019. Feiner continued to yell and use profanity and then made a threatening statement in reference to ending the employee's life. During an interview with investigators, Feiner made statements that he felt the polling place could easily be changed back simply by changing the address on a computer and that he thought those that he spoke to on the phone were lying to him, which made him angry.

Feiner was arrested on four misdemeanor charges, three of those were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
