Two out-of-state individuals were arrested for allegedly leading police on a pursuit around 9 a.m. on July 28th.

The Chenoa Police Department tried conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Jessie St. John, 22, of St. Louis, Missouri and the passenger was Gabrielle Flower, 21, of Jennings, Missouri.

The Dwight Police Department said the vehicle exited off onto the Route 47 Dwight exit, drove through Dwight causing many traffic violations and then got back onto Interstate 55 heading northbound in the southbound lanes.

The two individuals were eventually apprehended by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office. St. John and Flowers were charged with Reckless Driving, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Stop Sign Violations, and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Both individuals were transported to the Livingston County Jail.
