A man on probation in Kendall County has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in Grundy County.

Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer said Anthony Betzwiser, 28, of Minooka was arrested following a domestic disturbance at a home in the 300 block of Wabasso Street around 9:45 p.m. on December 3.

Meyer said the complainant, who called 911, gave consent to search the residence and authorities found a loaded shotgun that belonged to Betzwiser.

Betzwiser has a prior felony conviction out of Kendall County in 2009 and was placed on two years of probation earlier this year on a class four felony domestic battery charge.
