Two felony charges have been filed against a man accused of stabbing another individual at El Burrito Loco in Channahon around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17th.

Antonio Zaragoza, 41, of Minooka has been charged with Aggravated Battery/Using Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Battery/Public Place, both class three felonies.

The Channahon Police Department say five individuals from two separate groups were involved in a fight that started in the restaurant and continued into the parking lot. One victim was stabbed in the stomach area and fled the scene with two witnesses to seek medical treatment. 

The second group, which included Zaragoza and another individual, fled the scene. Zaragoza was later arrested and remains in the Grundy County Jail on a $50,000 bond.  The stabbing victim was transported to Morris Hospital and is expected to survive.
