A man with at least 15 prior convictions for driving with a revoked license has been sentenced to prison.

John Hartley, 58, of Crest Hill pled guilty in Will County to two counts of driving on a revoked license while have at least 15 prior convictions, both class two felonies and was sentenced to 42 months in prison.

Hartley also pled guilty to the same charge in Grundy County and was sentenced to prison. Hartley was arrested by the Morris Police Department for driving while license revoked in March of 2016, by the Minooka Police Department in April of 2019 and the Shorewood Police in July of 2019.

According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Hartley has been to prison six prior times for driving while license revoked dating back to 1996.

He also has prior terms for retail theft, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding Police as well as Obstructing Justice.
