The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department has released more information regarding a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours on November 28th.
Grundy County Sheriff Kevin Callahan said one person was shot four times near the intersection of Grand Ridge Road and Tynan Road in rural Mazon.
The victim was transported to Morris Hospital and later taken to a Peoria Hospital where he was released after several hours.
The Will/Grundy Major Crimes Task Force was called in to assist in the shooting, which they believe to be an isolated incident.
Investigators have not released who shot the victim or any other details.
