A Cook County man was recently sentenced in Grundy County for leading authorities on a pursuit.

Brian Vershaun Herman, 37, of Chicago Heights pled guilty to Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding Police and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, both class four felonies.

He was sentenced to 30 months probation and 180 days in the Grundy County Jail. Herman failed to stop for the Minooka Police Department in late April of 2018. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Herman is currently serving a four year prison term for robbery out of Cook County.
