A Chicago man is wanted in Grundy County for stealing more than $2,500 from a business in Morris.
A Grundy County grand jury last week indicted 21-year-old Daniel Chavez on two counts of retail theft, both class two felonies.
The Morris Police Department said Chavez stole around $1,100 on May 8th and $1,400 on May 13th from a business in the 300 block of East Route 6 in Morris.
In each incident, Chavez left the through an emergency exit door, which is why the retail theft charge, is a class two felony. Chavez remains wanted on a Grundy County warrant.
