A local teenager was arrested by the Morris Police Department after a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of West Avenue around 3 p.m. on November 8th.
Morris Police Chief John Severson said Zachary Payton, 18, of Morris is accused of trespassing on property he was not supposed to be on.
During the incident, Severson said Payton then allegedly made a racial slur at an officer and then went aggressively at the same officer.
Payton was arrested for Aggravated Assault and criminal trespass. He was transported to the Grundy County Jail and released over the weekend.
