The last of three individuals has pleaded guilty in a Livingston County drug case.Thomas Emerson Jr., 57, of Pontiac was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance after a search warrant was conducted at 920 West Madison Street in Pontiac in April of 2019.
During the search, 89 norco pills and a 2004 Dodge Caravan were seized. Michael Price, 52, of Pontiac was charged with three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and Karley Runyon, 27, of Pontiac was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
This comes after another search warrant was conducted at 1037 East Water Street in Pontiac around the same time frame. Several bags of heroin, syringes, and a 2002 Mercury Villager were seized. Price was sentenced to five years in prison on three drug dealing charges and three years on the drug possession charge.
Runyon was placed into the Drug Court Program and two years of probation after pleading guilty to a drug possession charge. Emerson pled guilty to unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a class two felony and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class four felony.
In a Livingston County Courtroom this week, Emerson was sentenced by a Livingston County Judge to two years probation, 152 days in the Livingston County Jail and must perform 80 hours of community service.
