The LaSalle County Health Department is alerting residents that as of Friday, November 20, 2020, their County-Level COVID-19 Risk Metrics remain at the orange warning level.

LaSalle County has remained at warning level status since November 6th.  A warning level means that a county saw increases in two or more COVID-19 risk indicators. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, the 7-day test positivity rate has remained significantly above eight percent. 

The LaSalle County Health Department (LCHD) was also notified of an additional COVID-19 death. The individual was a male in his 80’s. There have been a total of one hundred-eleven COVID-19 related deaths in LaSalle County. The total cases for the county are now at 5317.
