An out-of-state man was arrested in Grundy County after a crash around 10 p.m. on October 7th.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department said a vehicle driven by Nathan Drinkwine, 38 of South Bend, Indiana was in the 10,000 block of North Tabler Road when he slid off the roadway and ended up in the ditch.  

The Minooka Fire Protection District said North Tabler Road between Oak Lane and Sand Ridge Road was closed for several hours after the incident.

Drinkwine was arrested on two counts of DUI, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a traffic control device. He posted bond and was released.
