The 26th Annual Home For The Holidays celebration was a huge success last November and proceeds from the annual house walk were donated to several organizations.

Morris Downtown Development Partnership Executive Director Julie Applegate said the organizations included  Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice, who received a $5,000 donation, a downtown beautification project, Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Coal City High School Madrigals.

The committee will also be presenting scholarships to a Morris High School student and a Grundy Area Vocational student this spring.

The Home For The Holidays Committee is also looking for additional volunteers for the 2020 Home For The Holidays Committee and house walk. If you are interested in getting involved, call 941-0245.
