The Grundy County State’s Attorney’s Office has released the following felony grand jury indictments. The public should be advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Dawson Abbitt, 26, of Morris, was indicted for aggravated domestic battery, a class 2 felony. Serena Anglim, 29, of Justice, was indicted in two counts for criminal trespass to a residence, both class 4 felonies. Quentin Archie, 27, of Country Club Hills, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine, a class 4 felony.

Kyle Baker, 25, of Coal City, was indicted for burglary, a class 3 felony. Maurice Brown, 26, of Chicago, was indicted for forgery, a class 3 felony. Maurice Brown, 26, of Chicago, was indicted for forgery, a class 3 felony. Douglas Cherrone, 38, of Morris, was indicted for the unlawful possession of oxycodone, a class 4 felony.

Marquise Garner, 20, of Chicago, was indicted in two counts for forgery, both class 3 felonies. Carlos Gonzalez, 24, of Morris, was indicted for the unlawful possession of fentanyl, a class 4 felony; and for resisting a peace officer, a class 4 felony.

Michael McPhail, 35, of Channahon, was indicted for driving while revoked, a class 4 felony. Tasha Norris, 31, of Morris, was indicted in two counts for aggravated reckless driving, both class 4 felonies. Michael Smith, 24, of Decatur, was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 500 but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis, a class 3 felony.

Jerry Stegall, Jr., 33, of Springfield, was indicted for aggravated driving while under the influence, a class 4 felony. Carl Williamson, Jr., 34, of Joliet, was indicted for the unlawful possession of cocaine and heroin, both class 4 felonies. Dexter Young, II, 36, of Springfield, was indicted for the unlawful possession of more than 100 but less than 500 grams of cannabis, a class 4 felony.
