MORRIS - Grundy County State’s Attorney Jason Helland, has announced that on August 7, 2019, the grand jury has returned the following indictments. The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Shaun Cailey, 30, of Channahon, was indicted in two counts for aggravated battery, both class 3 felonies. Roberto Carillo, 54, of Joliet, was indicted in four counts for aggravated driving while under the influence, all class 4 felonies. Jeffrey Darken, 38, of Minooka, was indicted for unlawful restraint, a class 4 felony.

Charles Enerson, 43, of Diamond, was indicted for aggravated driving while under the influence, a class 1 felony. Imogene Higgins, 70, of Chicago, was indicted for aggravated identity theft, a class 2 felony. Maurice Hines, 48, of Morris, was indicted for driving while revoked, a class 4 felony.

Quincy Jones, Jr., 22, of Coralville, Iowa, was indicted for the unlawful possession of MDMA, a class 4 felony. Nickolas Sandifer, 32, of Gary, Indiana, was indicted for identity theft, a class 4 felony. Dalton Synder, 19, of Morris, was indicted in three counts for domestic battery, all class 4 felonies. Cynthia Stewart, 66, of Chicago, was indicted for identity theft, a class 2 felony.
