A 40-year-old Morris man was recently indicted by a Grundy County grand jury. Scott Kalkis was charged with two counts of Domestic Battery, both class four felonies.
Kalkis is accused of shoving a female household member into a door causing her to fall and be struck in the head with the door. Kalkis was arrested by the Morris Police Department on February 3rd.
He remains free on bond. Court records show Kalkis has two prior convictions for domestic battery in Will County.
