An intergovernmental agreement between Grundy County and the Village of Minooka for the Ridge Road Widening Project was approved at the Grundy County Board meeting last night.
County Administrator George Gray highlights the agreement.
Gray also said Minooka will be responsible for other things.
Last October, Highway Engineer Eric Gibson said the construction would last over a two year period instead of one calendar year.
County officials say $7 million will pay for the construction of the new bridge and $6 million for the construction of the new road.
