The Grundy County Health Department has announced additional positive cases of COVID-19 in the County, bringing the total of positive cases to 171.
The first positive case was identified in Grundy County on March 23, 2020. Of these 171 cases, 150 have completed the recommended isolation period and have been released from isolation. Four Grundy residents have passed away as a result of COVID-19 complications: A man in his 70s, a female in her 80s and two men in their 90s. All four had underlying health conditions.
Diagnostic and antibody testing remain available locally by appointment through Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers. According to the GDHD, residents should call their primary care doctor or 815-705-2819 to learn more about testing.
